What is an author?

An author is responsible for the creation, uploading and improvement to the Risk Assessment and Method Statement. Harnessing the Intuety platform to improve the overall quality, consideration and safety of documentation.


What does the Author do?

  • Uploads or creates Jobs in the portal.
  • Be provided with suggestions of hazards, risks and mitigations that were missed or otherwise not considered.
    • Insert (and even Edit) the Intuety suggestions provided.
  • Action inconsistencies between the RA and MS in our gap analysis.
  • Be provided relevant lessons learned, SOP's and safety documentation.
  • Maintain a complete end-to-end audit trail.
  • Carry out quick and easy revisions at any point.
  • Leave comments and have conversations regarding RA or MS
  • Submit for reviewal and obtain approval of documentation.
  • Attach related images or files.

Who should the Authors be?

Internally for self delivery work, it's your site teams or members responsible for the creation of the RAMS.

Where used, the Authors should also be your supply chain.
