# Labelling Projects

**1. Why Use Project Labels?**  
Labels help you organise and categorise your projects, whether by status, region, team member, or priority.

**2. How to Add Labels:** Go into any project and head to the **settings page** by clicking the **three dots** on the top right of the project tile. Then, select **Project Labels** on the right-hand side.

**3. Create Your Own Labels:** Start typing to create new labels. These could be things like:  
“Over Budget”  
“Delayed”  
“High Risk”

A region or framework name such as "North" or "UK"

**4. Keep It Organised:** As you use labels more, you’ll build a drop-down list for easy reuse. We recommend agreeing on a consistent structure within your organization to keep things clear and tidy for everyone, including your team and subcontractors.
