# How to Unlock or Reactivate a Locked Account

What should I do if my account is locked?

If your account is locked after too many incorrect password attempts, use **Forgot Password** on the login screen to request a reset link. Resetting your password when locked out will automatically unlock your account.

 How do I unlock a locked account?

1. Go to the login screen.
2. Select **Forgot Password**.
3. Use the reset link sent to you to set a new password.
4. Log in again with your updated password.

If your account has been deactivated or remains locked, your **internal admin** can unlock or reactivate it.

 What if I use Log in with Microsoft?

If you use Log in with Microsoft, you don't need an Intuety password. Sign in with your work Microsoft account instead.

 Who can help if I still cannot access my account?

Your internal admin can assist with unlocking or reactivating your account.
