How to manage RAMS templates

Templates help users create consistent RAMS content. The Templates area lets permitted users create, edit, rename, search, and delete templates.

 Who can use this
  • Client administrators
  • Project administrators
  • Users with template creation permissions

Before you start, make sure the following applies:

Make sure you have the relevant template permissions. These are managed in Organisation Settings > Template Permissions.

Open Templates

  1. Select Templates from the left sidebar.
  2. Review the template cards shown on the page.

Search and filter templates

  1. Use the Name search field to find a template.
  2. Use the Date filter to narrow results by date.
  3. Select Clear to reset filters.

Create a new template

  1. Select + Create New Template.
  2. Choose whether to create from blank or from an existing template, depending on your permissions.
  3. Add the required content.
  4. Save the template when complete.

Edit a template

  1. Find the template card.
  2. Select Edit Content.
  3. Make the required changes.
  4. Save your changes.

Rename or delete a template

  1. Use the pencil icon to rename a template.
  2. Use Delete only when you are sure the template is no longer needed.
Checking it worked

New or updated templates should appear on the Templates page. Users without permission should not be able to create from blank or create from template.

Limitations and things to be aware of
  • I cannot create templates: Ask an administrator to check Organisation Settings > Template Permissions.
  • I cannot find a template: Clear filters and search again.
  • I deleted the wrong template: Contact your administrator or support team immediately.
