Creating and managing templates

This guide explains how admins can create and manage RAMS templates in Intuety.

Where templates apply:

The template system allows your organisation to provide one or multiple pre-configured styles, formats and structured templates for use within the 'Document Creation' module. You can create company blank templates or populated task based templates.

Who can use this

  • Client Admins
  • Project Admins
  • Users with template permissions

Before you start, make sure the following applies:

  • Confirm the user has template permissions in Organisation Settings > Template Permissions.
  • Prepare the template content or source document.
  • You have the document creation module enabled.

Open Template management

  1. Select Templates from the left sidebar.
  2. Search existing templates before creating a new one.
  3. Select Create New Template.

Create the template

  1. Choose whether to create from blank or from an existing template, if prompted.
  2. Add or edit the template content.
  3. Save the template when complete.

Manage existing templates

  1. Use Edit Content to update a template.
  2. Use the pencil icon to rename a template.
  3. Use Delete only when the template is no longer needed.
Limitations and things to be aware of
  • Create New Template is not available: Check Template Permissions.
  • The wrong users can create templates: Update permissions in Organisation Settings > Template Permissions.
  • A template was deleted by mistake: Contact an administrator or support immediately.
  • The document creation module may not be enabled as it's an additional module.
