Broadcasting Notifications
Overview
Broadcast notifications allow you to send a message to every user in your organisation through the Intuety platform. They are useful for sharing important updates such as safety alerts, lessons learned, guidance documents, or links to internal resources.
Who can use thisYou must be a company-level administrator to send broadcast notifications. Standard users can receive broadcast notifications but cannot create or send them.
Sending a broadcast notification- Open the menu on the left-hand panel.
- Select Organisation settings.
- Select the Broadcast tab.
- Choose the notification type:
- Info — for general updates and information.
- Success — to confirm something positive or completed.
- Warning — for items that need users' attention.
- Enter a title and a message.
- Add any attachments, such as a lesson learned, safety alert, or guidance document.
- Optionally, add a URL — for example, a link to a page on your company intranet.
- Select Send to issue the broadcast.
The notification will be delivered to every user in your organisation and will appear in their notification panel.
How attachments and links appear to usersWhen a user opens the broadcast in their notification panel:
- Selecting an attached document will automatically download it to their device.
- Selecting an attached link will open the URL in a new browser tab.
- Choose the notification type that best reflects the urgency and nature of your message — using Warning sparingly helps it stand out when it really matters.
- Keep titles short and clear so users can quickly understand what the broadcast is about.
- Attach supporting documents or links so users have everything they need in one place.
- Only company-level administrators can send broadcast notifications.
- Broadcasts are sent to every user in your organisation — they cannot be targeted to specific individuals or groups.
- Once sent, a broadcast notification cannot be recalled. If you need to correct a message, send a follow-up broadcast.
