Project Administration
Applicable for project admins.
In this video, we cover everything you need to know about managing project administration on the platform , from creating new projects to managing collaborators and marking projects as complete.
1. Creating a New Project: From the dashboard, click the “Create New Project” button. You’ll be asked to enter a project name and reference, these can follow any structure that works for your company. You can also add a label, which appears as a small sticker on the project tile (e.g., “Delayed,” “South Region,” etc.). Additional fields like start/end dates and client reference are optional. Once filled in, add your project’s location and confirm by clicking “Create Project.”
2. Editing an Existing Project: Click into a project and select the cog icon in the top right corner. From here, you can edit details like the label—great for highlighting project status. After saving, you’ll see a confirmation message and the updated sticker on the project tile.
3. Viewing Contributors: In the settings area, you’ll see a list of contributors. Anyone who uploads RAMS, leaves comments, or makes changes will appear here, giving you a clear view of who’s been involved.
4.Managing Collaborators: Navigate to the Collaborators tab to see or add companies involved in the project, such as subcontractors or clients. Click “Add Collaborator,” select their company and relationship to the project, and send the invite. They’ll receive an email notification to join the project.
5. Marking a Project as Completed: Don’t forget to use the “Mark Project as Completed” button when you’ve finished work. It’s a small but important step to keep your dashboard organized.
