3. Making use of the intelligence
1. Once your RAMS have been processed, click on the action button on the right hand-side to open it in its entirety. Click anywhere else on the row to open a quick preview.
You will now see 4 main tabs:
Suggestions > Opportunities to improve your hazards and mitigations.
Method Statment > Gap Analysis tool to check for inconsistencies between the RA and MS.
Documents & Attachments > Documentation related to the task you're carrying out.
Revisions & Reviews > You guessed it, you can check the details of those here.
There is no need to work through these in any particular order.
2. Work through the suggestions tab by selecting the risks and mitigations that you believe apply to the activity that will be carried out. To select a risk or mitigation, click the square checkbox. To edit a suggestion, click on the wand icon and change the text as desired, then hit the tick button.
> As the tab suggests, these are purely suggestions, it is up to the author of the RAMS to decide what is appropriate. Intuety is not accountable for this.
3. Once you are satisfied that all appropriate suggestions have been selected, click on 'Confirm Suggestions' at the bottom of the screen. Note - you CAN come back and make changes by clicking on 'Re-review recommendations' below the commenting section up until the RAMS are approved or rejected.
4. The suggestions tab will now show a recommendations report that shows various colours:
> Grey: Included in the original risk assessment before Intuety processing.
> Green: Intuety suggestions that were selected by the author.
> Red: Intuety suggestions that were not selected by the author.
So why does Intuety show suggestions that were not deemed appropriate by the author? As this is a rather subjective activity, what one person deems not appropriate could be deemed as absolutely essential by another. It maintains transparency across the board. To be clear, those in red are not included in the final RA.
